Things are so lush and green around here from all the rain lately.

My rose bushes have never looked more beautiful…..the fragrance is just amazing!!!!!!

Since my roses have grown so much they will need some pruning.

A little Frenchie stool……

The other day I recovered this little antique stool in toile fabric to match the window treatments in the guest bedroom.

This is what it looked like when I first bought it……..

The finish was in good shape, however the fabric was pretty soiled.

In case you are keeping track this would indeed be the third trumeau mirror I have made.

The mirror that was hanging in the hallway previously was moved to the guest bedroom and this new one took it’s place.

Update on the fox cubs……

I haven’t seen the cubs since Friday…..I was a little worried the mommy had moved them to a different den. I was so happy when I looked out the window and saw them today!!!

The mommy had brought them something to eat but they were more interested in playing.

Still blooming……

I do not have a green thumb……

So, imagine my surprise when this Orchid in the guest bedroom started to bloom after all the old blooms had fallen off. I figured it would get a couple of new blooms and then it would die like all the rest of the Orchids I buy. However this one has been blooming since last July!!!! Yes, that’s right, it just keeps on blooming!!!!!

 

 

This room gets amazing sunlight unlike the rest of the house.
